Adebayo is a registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapy Alberta. He graduated from University of Ibadan, Nigeria with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree with distinctions in Manual therapy and orthopedics in 2007. He continued his education in the United Kingdom completing master’s level acupuncture foundation course at University of Hertfordshire and principles of soft tissue injection from Keele University. He worked in the United Kingdom for over 10 years both within the NHS and private sector. His last role in the UK was as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner where he worked closely with orthopedic surgeons and GPs.
Adebayo has varied experience in treating spinal and peripheral joint conditions including shoulder and elbows injuries, hips, knees, and ankles. His focus is on client centered goals working with everyone to create a personalised treatment plan to achieve their goals. He employs his skills in graded therapeutic exercises, taping, hands on approach including manual muscle mobilisation, myofascial release techniques, peripheral and spinal joint mobilisations, acupuncture and dry needling within a biopsychosocial framework to optimise patient outcomes.
Apart from work, Adebayo balances work with family life. He is a keen cyclist and has been on cycling trips since moving to Canada. He has completed a trip from mainland British Columbia to Victoria, trips in Ontario and has plans for other trips in Alberta.
